I loved the first 3 books in the Harry Potter series and they realy gripped me as an adult reader. I loved the Narnia chronicles when I was younger. I was never able to "get into" the Lord of the Rings series of books, but nevertheless, I enjoyed the films. I have never read the other 3 books you have chosen, but they look interesting!
